Gas & Woodfired Range
Based on Fred Olsen’s fast fire design these units combine production kiln construction with traditional wood firing.
These kilns are easy to fire, simple to use and pure fun. They can utilise 'scrap' wood preferably unpainted (for minimal smoke). The fire boxes built under the main chamber on opposing sides are spacious to allow plenty of air for fast firing (with smaller pieces of wood) or by shutting the firebox doors and damper (and using larger cross sectional timber) the firing can be slower.
We have used as little as 6 industrial wood pallets sawn up to achieve 1260°C in as little as 3 hours, faster and slower firings are possible.
These Kilns utilise the best in modern insulation our usual quality steel case, attractively finished in green or grey (or any colour you like) can be made in any size to suit your application. They can be sited inside requiring access to three sides and fluing as straight as possible to outside. Alternatively store inside and wheel out for some great entertainment.

Kilns come complete with two spy holes. Two fire boxes, grates, variable damper, base supports, base shelf and battery operated digital pyrometer.
